Prior to joining IITH, Shirshendu was an Assistant Professor in IIT Ropar from 2018. Before working at IIT Ropar, he was an Assistant Professor in Indian Institute of Information Technology Guwahati from 2015. Shirshendu did his M.Tech. and Ph.D. from Indian Institute of Technology Guwahati. His research interests are in the fields of Computer Architecture, Hardware Security, and Emerging Memory Technologies.
