My broad areas of research interests include Monetary Economics, Inflation Targeting, Macroeconomics, Public Economics, Financial Economics, State and Union government Finances, Applied Time Series.

Prior to joining IITH, I was an Assistant Professor at Dept. of Economic Sciences, Indian Institutes of Science Education and Research (IISER), Bhopal from 2021. Before working at IISER Bhopal, I was an Economist at CEFT, a State Fiscal Policy Analysis Unit of Govt. of Odisha ( Collaboration between XIM university and Govt. of Odisha).
