Ankita Roy teaches at IIT Hyderabad in the Design Department. Across her years of research & industrial exposure, she has developed diverse Interest areas in: Typography & Ancient Scripts, Tessellation & Geometry, Kufic Calligraphy, Experiential & Multisensory Design, UX UI, Paper Engineering and Book Design. Her major works includes "Brahmi -Rediscovering the Lost Script" cataloged at The British Library. Her recent research is on The Metropolis of Mandu that Studies Artistic Traditions of Mandu from Kalpasutra to Nimatnama, with in depth analysis of 'Nimatnama' & 'Bustan of Saadi' published in the book " The Magic of Mandu - Suhur-e-Shaadiabad, 2019".
