New biphenyl derivatives of bis-imidazoline selones were synthesized in good yield and characterized by multinuclear (1D and 2D) NMR and UV-vis studies. The solid state structures of bis-imidazoline selones were further confirmed by single crystal X ray diffraction technique. © 2014 Indian Academy of Sciences.
