Ostwald ripening with size-dependent rates: Similarity and power-law solutions

Abstract
The dynamics of Ostwald ripening was investigated. Cluster distribution kinetics was used to describe growth or dissolution. The complex interactions of kinetics, thermodynamics and distribution dynamics were also studied for phase transitions. Results showed that larger clusters grow as the supersaturation decreases.
