In this article, we characterize absolutely norm attaining normal operators in terms of the essential spectrum. Later we prove a structure theorem for hyponormal absolutely norm attaining (or AN-operators in short) and deduce conditions for the normality of the operator. © 2021 Elsevier Masson SAS

The vibrant research culture is evident from the number of patents and publications that IITH produces consistently every year. There are separate programs for technology, design, science, and liberal arts.
