Abstract
Radar application needs vast PA, that should consist of compactness, worth while and cheap. Proposed way tells theoretical analysis and design of GaN MMICPA adopting microstirp radial stub in both input side and output side matching network which is useful for X-band Radar applications that cover the range of 8.5 GHz to 9.5 GHz. our design focus on microstrip technology which uses radial stub for the better matching. proposed design covers a 4W (36 dBm) output power from a 23 dBm input with a 40% Power Added Efficiency (PAE) and a 13 dB gain in CW-mode operation with a 28V drain voltage. The proposed architecture was done on the 0.25µm gate length GaN on SiC process of UMS (GH25) using Keysight ADS 2017 with die size of 1.8 x 2.4 mm2 © 2021 IEEE
