FT-IR spectra of pure and doped (with NaCl and KCl) hippuric acid crystals have been recorded in the regions of 400-4000 cm-1. The present study indicates that the broadening of the peak in the higher energy region is due to the interaction of sodium and potassium ion with the acid anion OH groups. © 2008 American Institute of Physics.

There are separate programs for technology, design, science, and liberal arts.
