In this article, we discuss Benedicks' theorem for the Weyl transform associated with the Heisenberg group. Suppose σ ∈ L2 (Hn × R, S2, dν × dμ) be a function with compact support and if the Weyl transform Wσ is of finite rank, then we show that σ is zero almost everywhere on Hn × R. © 2018 Informa UK Limited, trading as Taylor & Francis Group.
