In this paper a full-wavelength dipole antenna is designed and analyzed for unlicensed ultra-wide band available at 60GHz frequency. The geometry of this antenna consists of four semicircular shape arms. Each arm is quarter-wavelength long. The Radiated fields, directivity, power density, and input impedance of the proposed antenna are formulated and these theoretical results are validated by comparing with the simulated results obtained from HFSS. The geometry of the proposed antenna gives advantage over planar antennas in that it can be embroidered on fabric. © 2018 Electromagnetics Academy. All rights reserved.
